Did you know that Dakota County has seen an increase in poverty of 57% since the year 2000 and the Community Action Council food shelve need has increased by 60% since the year 2002.  Recently, the food shelves in Dakota County have been very low and a plea has been sent for help in feeding our neighbors. 

Each Sunday there is a collection of non-perishable foodit items for the food shelves in Dakota County. Please bring nonperishable food items, personal care products and paper items to be delivered to the Eagan CAC site for distribution. As the colder weather is upon us, and unemployment and home foreclosures have spiked, thank you for sharing God's generosity!
