OPEN DOORS BENEFIT CONCERT SERIES

The much-praised OPEN DOORS Music series is in its 3rd season. Our OPEN DOORS benefit concerts showcase amazing musicians AND help your neighbors at the same time. The concerts are FREE and open to the public, but financial donations are encouraged. We ask that you also bring non-perishable food items to support area food shelves. Contributions collected at each concert not only go to supporting the series ... BUT a portion of the proceeds from each concert is donated to support a specific cause. This season we're supporting the American Cancer Society.

Please note that the 2009-2010 season has moved to a new day and time - Saturdays at 8:00pm. Our next concert will round out this season on:

• April 17, 2010 - featuring virtuoso pianist Nancy Zipay DeSalvo. Ms. Zipay DeSalvo is the former pianist for the Julliard studio of Dorothy Delay, Bay View Music Festival Artist-in-residence and Youngstown, OH Symphony Orchestra Principal Pianist. Beethoven, Chopin, Ravel and the explosive 7th Sonata of Sergei Prokofiev is on the evening's music menu. Please join us! 

“So many people have told us they are grateful to have such extraordinary music available in the southeast metro area,” said Mark Salter, director of the music series.

The musicians have been eager to get involved too. “We have an incredible network of caring musicians across the country,” said Dr. Matt McCright, resident pianist for the series.

All concerts are at Saints Martha & Mary Episcopal Church is at 4180 Lexington Avenue South, or the northeast corner of Lexington and Diffley Roads in Eagan.
