Music

M&M pianoM&M offers a mixture of contemporary and traditional music with the use of three different hymn books, special choir selections and solos, instrumental accompaniment and a nationally acclaimed pianist.

Under the direction of Mark Salter, the come-as-you-are choir welcomes newcomers offering their voices in glory and praise.  Practice is on Thursday nights at 7 p.m. and sometimes we break bread together first, and always have a laugh.

OPEN DOORS

The OPEN DOORS Music Series entered its 3rd season last fall. Each OPEN DOORS benefit concert showcases amazing musicians AND helps your neighbors at the same time. The concerts are FREE and open to the public. We ask that you bring non-perishable food items to support area foodshelves. Also, at each concert, we collect voluntary contributions to support the series ... AND we donate a portion of the proceeds from each concert to support a specific cause. Last season, we supported the American Cancer Society (see below).

Last season's OPEN DOORS concert included:

We are currently planning our 2010-2011 OPEN DOORS concert schedule. More information will be available soon.

The American Cancer Society

The next time you're with a group of people, ask this question: "Have you or someone you know had to deal with cancer?" Chances are that everyone will answer yes. That's why it's important for each of us to do whatever we can to fight this disease in all its forms ... and why we selected the American Cancer Society as our beneficiary for the 2009-2010 season.

Having cancer is hard. Finding help shouldn't be. Call 1-800-227-2345 or visit www.cancer.org to learn about the incredible resource network available to you and your loved ones from the American Cancer Society.

Thank you to everyone who supported us this season!
