Music

M&M pianoM&M offers a mixture of contemporary and traditional music with the use of three different hymn books, special choir selections and solos, instrumental accompaniment and a nationally acclaimed pianist.

Under the direction of Mark Salter, the come-as-you-are choir welcomes newcomers offering their voices in glory and praise.  Practice is on Thursday nights at 7:00pm and sometimes we break bread together first, and always have a laugh.

Thank you to everyone who supports our music ministry!

OPEN DOORS BENEFIT CONCERT SERIES

OPEN DOORS Music Series logo

Join us Saturday, December 3 at 7:00pm as the noted Twin Cities ensemble La Bonne Chanson leads us in a good old-fashioned Christmas sing-a-long in our second benefit concert of the 2011-2102 season of great music for the OPEN DOORS Music Series.

This season, a portion of our proceeds will support the important work of 360 Communities - in particular, their emergency food shelf network, which is serving more people than ever.

There is no charge for admission; free-will donations are gratefully accepted.

Also, please bring canned goods and other non-perishable items to help ensure the 360 Communities food shelves can continue to meet the needs of our friends and neighbors throughout Dakota County.

All concerts are at Saints Martha & Mary Episcopal Church is at 4180 Lexington Avenue South (the northeast corner of Lexington Avenue and Diffley Road) in Eagan.

About The Artists

La Bonne Chanson is a group of Twin Cities professional musicians founded in 2009 and dedicated to reviving and preserving the art of the song recital. They bring traditional and contemporary songs, mélodie, lieder, and chanson to a variety of venues and audiences throughout the Twin Cities in an effort to help foster a renewed interest in the art form of classical singing.

The group will perform several of their own pieces and then lead the audience in a sing-a-long of popular Christmas songs. The first half of the concert will feature sacred hymns and carols, while the second half will focus on pop music.

For more information, please visit their website.
