M&M offers a mixture of contemporary and traditional music with the use of three different hymn books, special choir selections and solos, instrumental accompaniment and a nationally acclaimed pianist. 

Under the direction of Mark Salter, the come-as-you-are choir welcomes newcomers offering their voices in glory and praise.  Practice is on Thursday nights at 7 p.m. and sometimes we break bread together first, and always have a laugh.

OPEN DOORS

The OPEN DOORS Music Series enters its 3rd season this fall. Each OPEN DOORS benefit concert showcases amazing musicians AND helps your neighbors at the same time. The concerts are FREE and open to the public. We ask that you bring non-perishable food items to support area foodshelves. Also, at each concert, we collect voluntary contributions to support the series ... AND we donate a portion of the proceeds from each concert to support a specific cause. This season, we're supporting the American Cancer Society (see below).

Please note that the 2009-2010 season has moved to a new day and time - Saturdays at 8:00pm. Dates are:

• November 7, 2009 - flute masterworks by two-time McKnight award winner Linda Chatterton
  
• December 12, 2009 - a holiday spectacular by the amazing South of the River Community Band
• February 27, 2010 - an extraordinary collaboration between violinist Shih-Ting Huang and pianist Matthew McCright
• April 17, 2010 - virtuoso piano music by Nancy Zipay DeSalvo, associate professor and chair of the music department for Westminster College in New Wilmington, PA

Our Cause for the 2009-2010 Season: The American Cancer Society

Thank you to everyone who supported us last season. We collected more than 500 pounds of food plus cash contributions for the Community Action Council (CAC) foodshelves serving Dakota County!
