Enter into the places where our world is in pain.
Steady the hands of those who lead our nation.
Teach us to live in respect with our neighbors.
Ordain our churches to proclaim good news.
Reach into our families with healing love.
Embrace our friends with joy and laughter.
Use this Advent season to waken us
from our spiritual slumber.
Shake up our priorities and challenge our destructive behaviors.
Overwhelm us with your transforming love!
God of light,
Only source of hope,
Divine spirit of peace.
